Disco
The removal of it from this bill is to make the already despised Labour to vote against it. Narrative continues that despite the fact they lost they still want to block Brexit and that they not only hate Brexiteers for loving England but they hate democracy. Most things moving forward will be framed like this, Tories and the people of England versus whoever stands in their way. It's what voters want and we're only just beginning. If someone explained to the public that 'red tape' and 'regulations' can actually be beneficial to workers and consumers, maybe... Ah fuck it, I give up. AyeDubbleYoo
What rights are they going to water down out of interest? I would predict working time limits, rights to representation, health and safety, and eventually the human rights act. Then away from employment, product safety standards, food standards etc.

ikri
Fuck off. Nobody on facebook is making up the lies, they're just repeating what they.ve read in the papers, or seen Andrew Marr talking about what' in the papers, or Andrew Neill asking questions about what's in the papers. The papers could have zero circulation, t wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. Corbyn specifically targeted billionaire media barons. Do you think they just shrugged and said "oh well, it was good while it lasted". Facebook is just the most effective way to spread the lies, and even if people check up on the lies, if people see the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 backing up the lies they will feel justified in sharing. And they probably won't hear too much about Palastine. It's not just Facebook, but the political engagement of people in this country is incredibly low. This isn't just people believing shit off Facebook, this is genuine insanity. I'm not sure if some people are just unbelievably naive or if somehow people have been under the misapprehension that Labour were in power up until this election. It's like people saw that Theresa May stood down as Prime Minister when Boris took over but somehow thought that they were in different parties. Disco
Not sure why people are surprised by this. Whilst the EU and migrants were too blame for everything in the run up to the referendum, Labour and their supporters/sympathisers are too blame for everything wrong at all other times. Been the case for years.
