Only got a year left on his deal, so I suppose they're banking on him having a decent spell somewhere and subsequently getting a fee later down the line. People kept saying ffp would hold us back if the Saudi’s took over, yet they seem to have been operating with a blank cheque for a while now. Their wage bill must be big as well.
