Other clubs' transfers

I can see how it would work. Like say we had one for Isak or something where like we don't tell anyone what it is. But if clubs blindly bid and then hit the magic number then it's agreed between club and player that we have to allow them to leave at that price. Gives the clubs the chance still to receive a bid above the release clause. Like say if Isak's was £100m but clubs assumed we won't listen to any offers less than £120m.

But if it's proven the player or agent leaks that price to the buying clubs then the clause is void.

However Levy won't be that stupid and whilst maybe morally he's probably in the wrong, legally I'm sure there won't be any evidence of tapping up the player. Even though we know it happens it literally every single transfer.

I'm just amazed it's been a secret for so long especially when Man City were bidding just short of the release clause in January

£25m on him and some of our lot are losing their mind at paying £30m+ for Trafford.

Where? Think the majority of people, particularly on here think £30m for Trafford is fair

Chelsea set a £100m asking price for Jackson according to the mail - surely that can't be true

It’ll be true and PIF will pay them it to send him to Al-Whatever to further boost our rivals.

All the transfer business in and out we've done with Forest and neither of us have ever reported each other (though we probably should have over Vladochimos). Sucks to be you Spurs.

 Yup, and although we don’t know what’s gone on this kinda makes sense. Among all the other stuff Marinakis has done, he’s threatened legal action before including against Gary Neville and VAR referees. It’s what he does.

Supposedly the medical was scheduled so Forest obviously knew about this. Sounds like Marinakis being performative which - again - is what he does.

Palace fans will be doubly pissed off because here’s a guy who parked his Forest stuff in a blind trust to avoid the ownership rules, then immediately makes clear that he is the owner and he calls the shots.

On the subject of Petrovic, he is Chelsea’s best goalkeeper in my opinion. Found it very odd they shipped him out on loan and put their faith in Sanchez

If a Saudi Club did buy him surely they can't get away with £100Mil as being FMV
