As annoying as the mackems' summer is, I still think Leeds are buying slightly better. Stach, Longstaff and some centre-backs so far.

I think Leeds could break the yo-yo cycle this season, but at the expense of.......???

Fulham maybe? Wolves?

Thought you wanted cash for him? Another loan doesn't seem ideal.

Cash would have been lovely. Hopefully he plays class at Barca and we get that next summer.

He still has another 3 years on his deal.

Huge 12 months for Rashford - if Flick can’t get him in line then nobody can (bar Wor Eddie I’d say)

will be interesting seeing him press for 90 mins

Nosedive? He gets to go play football and be a millionaire in Rome. Doesn’t seem like a nosedive to me.

He was lauded as one of the best young striker prospects over a year ago. Now, he can’t find a suitor in the PL and he’s gone on loan abroad and can’t find a permanent move. Fair play, it’s an amazing place to play your football and a million miles away from a failure but in footballing terms relative to where he was 18-24 months ago it’s a huge drop

Scored a hat trick against Newcastle and then fell off the face of the earth.

I dunno man, Roma is a pretty storied club. I’d rather be playing for them than Sunderland or Brighton or any number of PL clubs that might’ve wanted to take a chance on him.

I know he had some buzz at one point but taking a leap and backing yourself on the continent rather than wasting time battling relegation in England seems a great move to me.

Fair play to Evan Ferguson and Rashford. Both have had had a stinking last 18 months or so and yet both have somehow managed to take a step up in their careers.

38m for Ferguson?! Crikey.

It's ruining the game but is working to design.  Everyone knows it has zero to do with sustainability.  For anything to change the rules have to change and nothing will happen until a club challenges them in the courts. Sadly PIF seem to have zero appetite to do so.

Feels that way. There are hoovering up all the talent whilst the rest run around like headless chickens fighting for the crumbs. Players also only want to join these clubs as they know how much they can pay. The system is broke.
