It’s probably indicative that the “must be better value elsewhere”, isn’t quite as true as it used to be.

He was rumoured to PSG for more than that in January. I think £35-40 mill is very reasonable fee based on his performances over the last 3 years.

Apparently Glasner downed tools at his last club after not being happy with their lack of signings. Hope the same happens here and Palace get flushed. Interestingly think Freedman left for the same reaaon after funds weren't made available for him to recruit properly.

Doubt their US owners give a shit. Get the feeling we might see one of the established order go down the plug hole this season - Brentford, West Ham or Wolves being the most likely candidates unless their transfer business improves.
