Savinho is shite :D When you are churning out one goal as a winger at Man City, you’ve not got much about you.

Antony is a better RW.

TBF I can remember what most football fans made of a tricky young foreign winger who was seen as skilled but ineffectual after his debut season at a big Manchester club - all pointless tricks with no end product ...

We've already spoken to Brighton about the deal. We quite obviously have permission to discuss personal terms with the player.

Froggy I can’t work out if you’re clueless about what’s happening at your club or you just play it down on here to hedge your bets. In this last 7 days you were giving us a ‘free run’ at Šeško and weren’t signing a midfielder.

You’re about to drop £200m on both.

Little bit of both to be fair. I didn't think a midfielder was possible this summer. We've either got a fair idea of what we're going to get for Sancho/Antony/Garnacho or else I think there's the possibility Bruno will go to Saudi before June 30th next season.

So, if ManU buy Baleba, they have Casemiro, Ugarte, Mainoo and Baleba for 2 no 6 spots, and newcomers Mbeumo and Cunha for 10s, so that leaves their best player Bruno to play... as a 6? So that means there are 4 players fighting for that second deeper midfield position, with no European games. I might have forgotten some youngster.

Building a squad for the Champions League next year.

Seems like nothing can go wrong there.

Won’t be no ramifications. At worse, Man Utd know they can sell to a state and the debt is cleared, at best it’s more of the same, max out the credit and sell on youth over next 2 seasons to balance things.

Garnacho will be £40m book. They’ll be banking on Rashford being £30m to Barcelona or £20m+ to someone else. Mainoo is there for £45m+ next summer and there is always Heaven / Obi for £20m+ sales if they’re seeing minimal minutes this season and they see them as booked values.

Leaves them with a weird looking squad, but then that’s always been them for past 10+ years and the cup trophies will come in as it’s enough quality to hook it over one off games and revenue staying high. They’re not the top boys by some distance as the 00s / 10s, but will always be comfortably in top 5.

I would be surprised if that current team is "comfortably" top 5. That defence and Gk is a big worry.

Meant top 5 as in revenues. Got such a lead on others, that whilst the other big boys are catching up / caught up, they’re still at a base where it will be top 5 in future seasons despite being poor in the league regularly.

I don’t know enough about Baleba, but if you get legs in midfield you’ll be way better next season (in addition to what you’ve already done).

then again, I said exactly the same thing last summer I think but these do feel like very good buys.

We've no real concerns about the defence. Maybe LCB, but very happy with the rest especially with how Dorgu has looked in preseason. Premier League obviously different though.

Keeper we're absolutely terrified about. He is awful.

I would have concerns. Martinez has had a bad injury, Maguire is... Maguire. Yoro and De Ligt are decent, but not exactly Cannavaro and Nesta. And GK is maybe the worst I have seen in ManU shirt, maybe except Taibi.

Brighton supporting mate of mine said he’s better than Caicedo was for them.

Aye, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea could be a clear top four, but if the Champions League drops down to 5th, it could be a free for all again.
