So many assets taken from the middle to lower table too, only adding to the stratification.

Arsenal: Norgaard

Arsenal: (Kepa)

Arsenal: Eze

Chelsea: Pedro

Liverpool: Kerkez

Man City: Ait Nouri

Man City: Trafford

ManU: Mbeumo

ManU: Cunha

Spurs: Kudus

Elanga and Ramsey?

Always wanted BlueCo.

What a fucking farce the league is looking to be. 5 of the breakaway six demolishing everybody in the transfer market and probably seizing back control of the top quarter of the league, and all the cock sucking clubs happy to oblige them.

It’s fucking hilarious how we’re made out to be the bad guys in football and the ones no one wants to do business with. When in reality, the vast majority of other clubs are either directly or indirectly working to destroy the game on a daily basis

What about them? I'm on about the ESL clubs' spending. You'll take some convincing of me to suggest NUFC is contributing to the stratification given our summer of being raw-dogged by said teams.

Arsenal are a CL team taking one of Crystal Palace’s best players. You’re a CL team taking one of Nottm Forest’s best players. CL teams will take players from sides not in the CL, because they have more money and it’s an attractive proposition. That will always be there.

We can have all kinds of discussions about multiclub ownership, PSR, nation-state ownership etc etc, but clubs higher up the table buying players from clubs lower down the table is always going to be a thing and is what you were ultimately pointing out.

Edit: the anomaly there is Man U, but they have always had a ton of money with their revenue. I’m genuinely curious to see how that changes this year.

Trafford came from our academy and we had a buy back hahaha. You were literally on the verge of signing him yourselves

You're just further describing a symptom there I think. Buy backs are poison

The entire system is rigged so you and us can't fucking move without a gargantuan struggle whilst the six just spend what the fuck they want, when they want to. The rules are the rules, but the rules impact some clubs far more than others.

You are right, but it wasn't at this scale before PSR. You'd always see players moving upwards to those clubs but it was a few in total, not 8/9/10 or more, whilst also robbing those targets from would-be challengers.

And there was always the scope for a club which came into money to break the cartel.

Which is EXACTLY how two of those five top clubs (I'm not including Spurs, because that's frankly laughable) got to be in that 5 in the first place.

I agree some form of financial control is required, but the way it is shaped at the moment means clubs are encourage to do things like sell home grown product because the profit is all bankable against the rules. How is that a positive thing?

Effortlessly roles off the tongue.

I hope this fucking shill gets lifted by the way.

Surely this shit can't be allowed for long?

Conglomerates owning the player and just stockpiling them about at different clubs avoiding PSR and wage ratios?

This window has been lifting like. Reeks to high heaven.

So you signed him just because you can afford to prevent someone else from taking one of your option, and then later go for the shinier option that presented itself in Donnarumma, potensially leaving a young english GK in the mud? One who could have been a key player with us instead? Perfect demonstration of PSR in action.
