Yorkie
Absolute shark-jump of a moment for PSR if Rogers were to go to Spurs. I don't know how anyone could ever disagree with the argument about it's horrific impact on fair competition if that happened.

All they care about is staying in the league, very happy to be feeder clubs for the Sky Six. It's all so fucked.

Menace
How many fullbacks/centre backs does lego head need? Fucking hell. Gallagher is a Howe player all over, disappointed we're not in for him to be honest.

Nucasol
Breakaway Bandits: Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Spurs. Cunts, cheats, plastic cashpoint fans aplenty. Strivers: NUFC, Villa, Forest, Everton, formerly Leicester before the Bandits buggered them. Try hard, interlope, hit glass ceilings, get fined or points deductions for having the temerity to challenge the Order. Cuck Clubs: Brighton, Bournemouth, Palace, Brentford, Fulham, West Ham, Wolves. Common denominator - bend over, part cheeks, let the Cartel have their wicked way. Rely on their luck of geography and London prices/proximity to have status way above their history, station and soulless fan bases. West Ham were originally a Striver but the surviving Dildo Brother and the Karen seem to have lost interest. Wolves have settled nicely into a cushty cuck club rhythm after this summer. Cannon Fodder: Burnley, mackems, Leeds. Come up, get abused. Wave them off, see you back again in a year lads.

I can’t add West Ham and Wolves to that list - they’re proper top flight clubs with the history to match. It’s your clubs who’ve spent many more years outside the top flight than in it who love the current cosy arrangements. Wolves and West Ham don’t need the current financial fixes to be top tier clubs

Wolves have an argument to be another Leicester - Striver under Nuno but living with the consequences of some poor decisions in the recent past. AyeDubbleYoo
Think the mistake is just mentioning their history and fanbases. The cuck status is due to current lack of ambition and looking for ways to stay in the PL as cheaply as possible, voting for PSR etc. Could happen to any club regardless of traditional status. As a BVB member and fan (these are my two clubs, though been Newcastle fan for far longer) I’m devastated of the level of BVB current board. Things have gone so bad it’s even hard to explain, but this summer and scouting has been so horrible. There are obvious weak points that haven’t been addressed and players looked at are not what should be signed. Year ago anyone in Germany euros squad was target and this summer they haven’t bothered to look outside UK. Basically everyone is either English or play in England. The days of best talent spotting in Europe (Dembele, Isak, Sancho, Hakimi, Ju Bellingham, Håland etc.) are far gone and technical positions have been filled with old players. To be fair to the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton (and their fans), these clubs are living the dream. They have never had it better than this in their entire history. Brighton, for example, only a few years ago were in the 4th tier whilst playing in a shoddy athletics stadium. Who can blame them for being satisfied with where they are in the food chain. Question is how long will they be satisfied for? How long before they themselves will want to break through the glass ceiling?

Every club below the “Strivers” is faced with very real financial constraints. They’re not commercial behemoths and/or owned by sovereign wealth funds. But they’re hardly rolling over and accepting whatever the Cartel demand. When they do sell purples to the Cartel, they’re generally extracting top fees. The likes of Glasner, Iraola, and Marco Silva are genuinely good managers (who will probably end up at Cartel clubs before long) and those clubs tend to cause a lot of bother. Despite their lack of financial heft, exacerbated by PSR, these clubs are competitive. Steve Parish personally is a weird little freak, mind.
