I can’t add West Ham and Wolves to that list - they’re proper top flight clubs with the history to match.

It’s your clubs who’ve spent many more years outside the top flight than in it who love the current cosy arrangements.  Wolves and West Ham don’t need the current financial fixes to be top tier clubs

I don't think Bournemouth are in that bracket either. They're a genuinely small club who because they don't make much money have little chance. They tried building a good team. Brighton on the other hand had about £200m to make a real go of it last year, but just recycled their model.

I like to predict bad things for teams I dislike and sometimes I do it when I don’t really believe it, I just want to will it to happen. But this one is going to end horribly for both Chelsea and Garnacho and I completely believe in it

Bargain at that price. Still a possible disaster, due to Chelsea talent graveyard, but that talent and potential at that price is a bargain.

Garnacho may succeed but it will cost someone else a chance to develop.

This has been Spurs’ most active window in years, no? Levy must trust Frank

It's actually a bit of cartel myth they don't spend.
