‘Heavy loan fee’

I don't understand that size of loan fee. Even in a successful loan spell you'd be looking at €1m per goal.

It's a smart signing for me, someone competent who can cover every forward position.

 

Sane, Coman, Tel and Muller have all gone, and with Musiala injured they've got no real depth up the top end. Having Jackson to give Kane, in particular, and Luis Diaz a rest will work out nicely for them.

I don’t think they trust Kompany, and probably rightly so. If they tank in Europe they’ll use it as the cue to move him on and refresh the squad.

Loan fee is so high because of the lack obligation. Chelsea's daft long contracts really help them protect the players value similar to us with Isak.

Bayern can afford a heavy loan free like someone said above. They can afford it and still get someone else next summer or January if someone they wants becomes available. Also probably get some of Chelsea’s wingers in the future.

Makes you wonder why they didn't just cough up a bit extra for Woltemade if he was their first choice.

Jacksons wages are probably relatively low which would balance out the loan fee for Bayern, the option to buy will look very reasonable as well if he has a strong season.
