He’d also cost an absolute packet in Jan unless there’s a release clause. While I “could” See it happening it’s more likely they bring in Guehi as they’re defence is all over the shop with the midfield not that far behind. I guess the question for Liverpool will be when is the right time to move him on? He’ll probably hit some form at some point but the whole side looks out of sorts currently.

Yeah. Even separately to the Isak stuff, my loathing for specifically the coverage of transfer windows has been simmering for years, and it really boiled over this time. Proper shark jump. Then you've got the transfers themselves, and the various miserable patterns and themes which characterise player movements these days. I just want absolutely none of it and would love to go to sleep until September/February 1st.
