Semenyo is about as a sure thing as Mbeumo. You know what you are getting, and output will be there in a good side.

Why do City need Semenyo?  Just ridiculous.

£65m is pretty cheap these days for a league proven talent.

They don't need him, and I'd argue neither did Chelsea or us, but it's a low risk investment.

Most logical signing ever that. Said as soon as the release clause was known that Man City should be all over him because that’s all they’re missing from the previous great Pep sides in terms of attack, a scoring winger.

Is Marmoush not a scoring winger? Though admittedly not this season, seems out of favour

I think Savinho has been proven to be a bit of a dud, so Semenyo will take his place if he signs.

I expect because Savinho is crap, Bobb is slow and doesnt look like a winger to me, Foden certainly isnt a winger neither is Cherki so that only leaves Doku, lastly they have the money so why not.

Semenyo has shown himself to be one of the best wide players in the league over the last 2 years, the natural progression for him is to step up to a team that is challenging for trophies.

I remember his time at Bristol City and he had some great attributes but his control was terrible, Iraola has clearly worked on that part of his game with him and you can see the player he has developed in to become of that.
