His career will now go down the pan, play a few games / on as a sub sometimes.

It's ruined, can't believe he went from Bournemouth to Man City.

Semenyo is equally strong with both feet, good at pressing, and adds a bit of end product. For a while this season, Haaland was their only player on more than one league goal.

His passing isn’t that good, mind. I think he’ll be a Doku type for them. With less pace and trickery. But more of a goal threat and a more polished player.

I like the fact that he is two footed and takes shots on. But I don’t think he’s as good of a player as people make out, personally.

It’s just been heavily magnified for us when we spent so much on Elanga. Not that we could have got him for the same price in the summer. Or that there wouldn’t have been better options available to him if the release clause was in play then.

Can we pinch their scouting network please?

Their owner used to work for Tony Blooms (Brighton) analytics firm then set up his own copycat business. That’s why they find these players more than anything.

Donyell Malen from Villa to Roma

Dunno about wages, all-round contribution, and injury resistance but the guy's been a monster for Villa in terms of goals per minute played.

7 and an assist in just over 10 league games' worth of minutes. 3 in Europa too.

He has been a monster, still doesn't always start weirdly, but insanely effective

Villa pushing the boat out again to secure top five it seems. They love a gamble.

Don’t think they need to worry about that. They’ll coast it judging by current form. A win v Everton this weekend and they’re firmly in the title race.

Annoyingly good signing is Gallagher.

Paquetas betting accusations were really a massive sliding doors moment for him, he’d be in a Man City shirt now if they had never surfaced.. now he’s angling for a move to Brazil.
