Palace spunking all their spiv money on Larsen and Johnson is some going.

Over £80m on two players that so far this season have a combined 1,851 minutes for a total of 2 open play goals all season.

Guardian reporting the world is interested in Wharton for the summer, price has dropped to 65m though. Our new was mentioned but so was Real Madrid's

We will have knocked Real out of the CL on our march to the final by the summer so will be an easy decision for him to make.

Surprised no-one is going for that Franculino Dju guy. Suppose he is currently injured, but in terms of future top players he must be in the sights of clubs.

Apparently Bayern bound in the summer.

From Kicker, Germany's most important sports magazine:

Crystal Palace Breaks Transfer Record for One-Goal Striker Strand Larsen

According to multiple English media outlets, Palace have reached an agreement with struggling Premier League strugglers Wolverhampton Wanderers for the transfer of Jörgen Strand Larsen. The 25-year-old Norwegian international will reportedly cost a base fee of €52 million, with potential add-ons of nearly €6 million. This isn't simply because money flows more freely in England's top flight than in other countries.

Last summer, Wolves received a substantial offer for Strand Larsen, with Newcastle United unsuccessfully bidding over €60 million before Nick Woltemade arrived for an even higher sum of €75 million.

Now, Wolves, represented by star agent Jorge Mendes, have apparently seized their last opportunity to secure a transfer fee in this range. With relegation looming, given their current 17-point deficit to safety, Strand Larsen's value would certainly have decreased.

Seems cheap that, thought he looked a decent player last few times I've watched them.

Been rejected. Aye he’s always looked good but Brighton’s midfielders invariably do.

I don't understand why people are bidding so high for him

I'm trying to think of an equivalent striker from the old Barclays days.

He's like a modern day Yohan Elmander.

Crikey with the dearth of classic centre forwards these days how much would the likes of a Yakubu, Viduka or a Hasselbaink etc. go for these days if they were playing in this era with the same shortfall of strikers. They would be getting rated way beyond what they were back in the old days.
