Hes taking it from Spotrac or Capology, which although it has some inaccuracies it is pretty accurate for the most part.
AyeDubbleYoo
All the data shows is that Man Utd pay loads more than we do. Shock.
The Butcher
Be absolutely amazed if they get info from confidential contracts. It's all best guesses imo.

AyeDubbleYoo
Feels like anything below and around 150k is a standard ish wage for anyone at a top 6 club. If you bring players from lesser PL clubs you will need to pay them about that amount. If a club spends a million a week more than you, that's enough for several extra CL level players. Bruno is our highest earner and is on half what Casemiro gets and only around the middle of Man Utd's higher earners. And they haven't even been successful for ages, so who knows if you checked the other top clubs. Edited February 2 by AyeDubbleYoo

I know wages data isn't exact, but that's enough for 10 players on 100k each Our wage bill is about 8th. But people arguing against me are doing the exact same thing, just with zero sources. I say Gordon is on £150k, the same as Mbeumo, as multiple sources have reported. You say, nah that's lies Man United pay way more. Do you see the issue?
Adam P
There are no good sources as none of them can be verified. Salaries are highly confidential and at the same time PR tools, as seen last summer. Anyone claiming to know details of 7-8 figure salaries is lying on behalf of PR at the club.
Smal
Think you can pretty much guarantee - given his general ideology - that Sir Jimmy will be giving out contracts that are heavily incentivised
Adam P
Under performing clubs paying above market wages are significanly incentivised to minimise estimates of what they pay. Commercial fact.
The College Dropout
based on real numbers. Will always be 18 months or so out of date. Kieran Maguire has a similar dataset just cba to look. £70m less in wages. Average Man U player rate £2.5m more p/a than ours. £50k ish more per player per week. The clubs have to announce how much they pay in wages in their annual reports. In football 95% of it will be footballer wages.

It’s massive jump from us, Villa and Spurs to the next level above. They are our competition, anything more the fanbase should consider a bonus. League cup and 2 CL runs from where we were in October 2021, we have been spoiled. Edited February 2 by Nine

Aye but you based on historic and predictive revenues, existing salaries you can safely assume Man U still pay their players more money.

bobbydazzla
We've made 2 x signings in our history that were over £60m. Isak at £66m and Woltemade at £65m. How many do you think Man Utd have made that were over £60m in their history ? Spoiler 11 of the cunts Edited February 2 by bobbydazzla

You pay big fees and big wages. And that's probably 50-70% of what you're paying the guys we were chasing and having to sell.

Not according to pretty much all official sources. You paid £55m for a 29 year old Wissa and gave him £140k a week. We paid £65m for a 26 year old Mbeumo and gave him £150k a week. Mbeumo is 50-70% better mind. Edited February 2 by Froggy
