Today i learned Dwight McNeil is only 26

I was just about to post this. They could have said he was 31, 32 and I wouldn't have batted an eye.

Just realised Palace have essentially replaced Eze and Olise with McNeil and Johnson. Imagine this place if it was us [emoji38]

Hopefully they replace Glasner with Kenny Jackett.

Tonali being replaced by Phillip Billing in the summer should be fun

They came to their senses and let the deadline expire to get it done.

The couple of Everton fans I know are buzzing they’ve fucked McNeil off

Won’t be buzzing now.

Crystal Palace's pursuit of Everton's Dwight McNeil is over.

The Eagles did not get the paperwork done in time and the former Burnley winger is staying at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the rest of the season.

McNeil, 26, has made 14 Premier League appearances for the Toffees this season.

Angel Gomez to Wolves a random one, though the hype around him has died off I still thought he’d have his sights set higher than them.

Hes 25 like where is the hype?

Guardiola:

Quote

"I am a little bit sad and upset because in net spend the last five years we are seventh in the Premier League. I want to be the first, I don't understand why the club don't spend more money. I am a little bit grumpy with them.

"But like we won in the past because we spent a lot, now six teams have to win the Premier Leagues, Champions Leagues and FA Cups because they spend more in the last five years. These are facts. It's not an opinion.

"You can say an opinion, like you say you play good or bad against Spurs - we can agree or disagree. But they are facts. Good luck to the six teams who are in front of us for net spend for the last five years.

"Let's go. I'm waiting. That's a nice quote, eh?"

Man City's net spend is always going to look better because of their conveyor belt of youth products they sell for high fees. Their gross spend over that time is 2nd only to Chelsea. Plus their wage bill is fucking massive.

He's coming out with more and more bitter comments in the press lately - seems yet another one who comes across very classy until it's not all going his way then the mask slips.
