Other clubs' transfers

Part of me reckons only the truly best of the best should be getting those types of wages.

Anyone else gets that and you've basically hit the pinnacle and for many that's a lot of motivation gone.

One of the main criticisms levied (no pun intended) against them is that they traditionally skimp on wages compared to the rest of the cartel, so :dontknow:

He’s a very good player, England international, in his prime. We wouldn’t blink if Chelsea or ManU paid him that much.

Florian Wirtz's agent Volker Struth has now revealed that he would like to see the Liverpool star at Real Madrid.

The German midfielder made the £116M move to Merseyside last summer in what is one of the biggest transfers in Premier League history.

Wirtz was criticised during the first few months of his time with The Reds but has grown into the player fans expected as he controls the midfield and dictates play.

Before he made the move to the Premier League champions, Wirtz was wanted by several top European sides including Real Madrid who were keen on snapping him up from Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking on the Phrasenmaher podcast, his agent has now revealed that he would love to see Wirtz at Madrid in a message that will worry Liverpool supporters.

"That year, it simply wasn’t the right time due to the squad and the budget. Even Real Madrid’s coffers aren’t always overflowing. But my wish remains that Florian will play there one day.

"I wasn't deeply enough involved in the offers that were on the table. My greatest wish, of course, would have been to have Florian at Real Madrid to see – and I don't think I'm alone in that.

“I also think he would be in very good hands there. He's doing quite well in Liverpool now, he's a very young player and who knows what might happen in his career."

Wirtz signed a five-year contract with Liverpool, tying him to Anfield until at least 2030, but Struth’s words will frustrate fans who saw Trent Alexander-Arnold depart to the Spanish giants last summer.

Not sure he's a very good player. Couldn't get in the Atletico team

Griezmann to Orlando City

Been one of my favorite players in football for a while now and really really excited he's coming to Orlando. Will potentially renew my ticket now as this is the first time I've seen them try and compete for the big name names from abroad in a while.

Salah leaving Liverpool.

He’s been shite this season, cried on all last season for a contract and then has performed well below his standards.

No doubt they'll be getting some decent money from a Saudi club

And obviously the Liverpool fans will object to receiving such bloody money, right?
