Do think the encroachment rule is wrong as long as you aren't putting the taker off. The same strong management in the sense of not wanting a player who was totally not the right player at the time(strong in game management) to be taking the ball for the match deciding kick.. when even others in the team were saying to him you should probably leave this to one to one of us. Rafa at that moment and after should have said to him you should be leaving it to someone else to the benefit of the TEAM in that situation. I thought Kenedy cost the TEAM big time by not just accepting at the time it isn’t best for the TEAM if I stick to taking this he didn’t think of the TEAM though. The fans and even his teammates were all thinking the same thing this guy shouldn’t be allowed to go ahead and take this match deciding kick after the game he was having. Feels a slight nudge and goes down. The ref should be thinking 'would he have headed that?' And would that little nudge really knock a 6 foot plus bloke down like that. Same as Salah knows I will run in front of him and slow myself down he has to foul me.
