He’s had about 30 accounts on here  Has he ever left? Anyone who had browsed the forum for even the last 12 months would know all about tubes.

Shouldn't be allowed to loan players without the intention of buying them IMO.

Half agree, should definitely be a case that if X games played an agreed fee is met, and clause sets in. Especially loaning within PL.

I think it’s pathetic we’re constantly loaning in players, especially from so called ‘big clubs’. Willock, Kenedy, all the rumours last few years of Holding, Abraham.

Whilst Willock was superb, I’ll never accept my club loaning in young players just so they can develop, and parent club can benefit - financially, or getting a better player back with no long term gain earned on our end.

Where not Roda JC, historically we’re a decent Premier League club. Time we started acting like one, Takeover or no-Takeover. Even Burnley, Brighton or Sheff U don’t/didnt go sniffing butthole for Phil Jones or Rob Holding on a handout.

There is definitely a conflict of interests going on.

Not sure if same ruling exists nowadays, but in Italy, Spain players can play against each other.

Even in PL, loan players can’t play against ‘own team’ but they can affect results for/against loanee/loan team.

Especially within recent years, the loan market within the PL has been to offload players to anyone but ‘top 6’, either to hopefully develop the player for a season to increase his market interest/value (Willock, Sam Gallagher..) or just generally alleviate wage bill costs on players new management doesn’t want.

The last loan deal I saw that was really successful, for player and both clubs - Ben White to Leeds, from Brighton. Leeds didn’t get screwed, prepared to pay £30M for him. Brighton got a PL ready player, and Ben White developed into a England international.

All the loanees from bigger clubs also means that - along with all their other advantages - bigger clubs are getting to play multiple smaller clubs in depleted forms - e.g. Arsenal getting us without one of our best players. It's a racket.

And I’ve got a feeling his comedic sidekick Joey Linton is Luke Edwards.

That works both ways though? For example Loftus-Cheek could play against Arsenal but not Chelsea, while Willock could play against Chelsea but not Arsenal.

Nah.

Arsenal have told Joe Willock that he is free to choose his own destination ahead of another loan away from the Emirates Stadium, with the 21-year-old midfielder indicating to the club that he wants to return to Newcastle after a successful spell there last season. #NUFC
