Mole_Toonfan
It's nowt new like, I've rewatched plenty of kids' films from my youth and realised there was loads of filth that sailed right over my head first time around. Disney films are very much like this, it's quite jarring when you realise
Happinesstan
Disney have been subverting young minds for decades, to such an extent that psychology can now be taught through the lens of Disney.
Vinny Green Balls
Wasn't that similar with the early music videos? Watching some of them now is basically watching a Simon Le Bon serial rape spree.
Sima
Aye, I wasn't watching them but they were on the tele in the background (honest) and the butler (I think) in The Parent Trap slaps about a 12 year old Lindsay Lohans arse Danny DeVito's just told Matilda "I'll pound your hide". EDIT: https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/f635d417-1be7-43a0-8c87-3ccf12710e96 Takes on a further meaning once you take Frank Reynolds into account.
TBG
Twenty minutes of Extinction. It's some Netflix produced film. Turned it off when the Alien started hacking away at a wall with the sword on the end of its gun instead of using the door. Based on that stupidity I assumed the human race wins. So no need to continue watching it.
LoveItIfWeBeatU
Mission: Impossible - Fallout Fantastic. Best in the series. Wall-to-wall action. Never a dull moment. Rebecca Ferguson as a biker chick. It's canny. 2.5 hours absolutely flew by. Some of the set piece action stuff was incredible. What was with Cavills tache I wonder, and yeah Ferguson is outrageous. It was really good but watching it I realised the trailer has plot spoilers. Also, I wasn't impressed that the opening title sequence of the film is made up of clips from the film I'm about to watch! Clips of action sequences yet to come? Who thought that was a good idea? It's crazy.

mrmojorisin75
Not that I've noticed, at least not to the same extent. Nah def a thing. Can't remember if 1 or 2 did it but confident the rest did.

I've not rewatched them for ages. I tend to see them at the cinema. Maybe sequences have used clips from the film before but this time they were very visible and distinct. Helicopter chase, Motorbike sequence showing who the rider was, etc.
Nobody
Saw the new Mission Impossible earlier today, was absolutely brilliant to be honest. So many fantastic set pieces, think my favourite one though is the bathroom fight. Best fight scene outside of The Raid I've seen in a long time. Knowing that Cruise does his own stunts helps A LOT as well IMO, loved that they use the shot when he breaks his ankle.
samptime29
Game night. Enjoyed it, pretty funny at times. Not sure it would hold up on 2nd watch as much tho. 7/

Not sure it would hold up on 2nd watch as much tho. 7/10 I don't know if this movie caught me at a good time or something, but we watched this a few weeks back and were in kinks. Especially her trying to remove the bullet and the dry heaving/wretching. :lol;

I know it's basically the only thing about the franchise but the action in that film was fucking nuts from start to finish. The stuff you pay an entrance fee for basically. Tomato Deuce
Raid > Raid 2, in terms of plot. The set piece fight scenes in Raid 2 are outrageous.
