I don't like having to pay for the DLC but this 'Forza Horizon 4 - Best of Bond Car Pack' looks fun: -

People are obviously willing to pay for Forza DLC. They're not essential, just nice to haves. Forza has occasional free DLC cars too.

I'll be playing FH4 via Game Pass which I got 6 months for £18 so I save myself £40 on buying the game outright. If I want to buy it to keep later it will be discounted by then.

Been playing FM7 a lot, and unfortunately, thanks to the stupid insistence of the devs that you need to bind things like Anna and Photo mode, I can't use the same gear shifting on FH4.

Still getting it though, too much of a local Northumberland feel to it to ignore. Currently living 5 minutes from Bamburgh Castle so wanting to drive around that a bit.

Forza Horizon 2 - A heads up for the Forza community: Forza Horizon 2 will reach “end of life” status on September 30. After September 30, players who own Forza Horizon 2 will still able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal. However, Forza Horizon 2 and its DLC will no longer be for sale. Forza Horizon 2 was available as part of August Games With Gold."

Car sounds are still horrific then. Aside from that it looks great. Finally have a new game to play.

Well the McLaren 720S should sound accurate as they sampled the real car. I'm sure they've used real samples for a lot of the cars.

The Lamborghini Murcielago SV was my favourite sounding car in 'FH3'.

Some are good but most are horrible. No doubt it's ridiculously hard but it's half the immersion.

Only played a couple hours so far and it's great.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm car collecting crazy. I've got 160+ cars collected already. I'll probably never even drive most of them.

The Lamborghini Murcielago SV was my 'daily driver' in FH3. In FH4 it's probably the Ascari KZ1R until I get the Murcielago SV.

I played the Halo event around Bamburgh Castle the other day. Really good.

I recommend people buy the car rental business in Edinburgh. You then get to drive a lot of the mega money hyper cars.
