Don't worry, Miggy, there'll probably be another Copa in about six months time.

And there is always the excitement of playing for Steve Bruce again soon too…

Makkah Newspaper if you want to trust that claims Al Hilal (Saudi club managed by Leonardo Jardim) want Miggy https://makkahnewspaper.com/article/1542302/

I don't think it's likely. They wanted Pereira according to this but baulked at their £13m asking price (70 million riyals). Opening bid about half of that at 35 million riyals, £6.7m. I imagine we'd ask far more for Miggy. Also Pereira is a bargain surely?

Could be facing a fifa ban for not linking up with Paraguay.  Seems a bit unfair when Cavani got a call up, Man United said he wouldn't be going, so Uruguay removed him from their squad.

Him not being in the team will make zero difference to the result. Vastly overated in my opinion, regardless of who the manager is and where he is played.

He’s been Bruced, lucky escape for him again, still guarantee some of the haters will blame his exclusion for losing, while asking Brucie for a wave…

To a degree yes, but bar a couple of small purple patches towards the end of the seasons he's been here he's hardly pulled up any trees. He is what he is, a mid table midfielder.

The bloke plays him in centre midfield. Originally played him as a winger/auxiliary full back. Worked well off the front man or in a more central attacking midfield role. How many times has he actually been in a position like that for us?

From the Athletic, Almiron is quarentining in an RV in training ground so he can still train.

While Leeds are putting up Raphinha in a hotel close to their Thorp Arch training base and Liverpool have sent Alisson and Fabinho directly to Madrid, where they play Atletico on Tuesday, Brighton are following Newcastle’s suit and have driven down a different road.

The pair have rented luxury RVs for Miguel Almiron and Jeremy Sarmiento to stay in throughout their 10-day quarantine period — although a change of countries under red-list regulations meant that Almiron did not need to use the trailer.

The vehicles — which are like Formula 1 motorhomes — are situated at the clubs’ training grounds. By hiring an RV, clubs benefit from having security already on-site and avoid needing to provide chauffeurs and finding separate changing facilities for their players to participate in training. Club chefs are even able to leave food outside the door for the players to eat.

We dearly missed him agaisnt Spurs and he will be key for the rest of the season. Both in terms of work rate and being able to run into space and draw players away from ASM.

So true, with our current set up you really don'y know how much we'd miss him till he's not there.
