Which takeover is the one your hoping for, or would like most?

I know we'd all like Bill Gates or some insanely rich Arab buying us as his play toy, but that isn't in the pipeline, however the bids above are, and i'm wondering which way the fans are swayed?

So is Polygon backed by UBS the one for you, or Belgravia and their Casino deal hopes for us a better option?

Maybe you need sectioned and think Fat Man scoop should take full charge, you decide.

I don't know, and tbh am not very interested in the ins and out of each party. But I would want a figure-head running us rather than a group like Belgravia. Also, I've heard of Polygon and UBS so i'm inclined to vote for them. Plus I don't like the sound of all this casino business.

The Shepherd full ownership thing is a no-go too.

Polygon have a dodgy past if were to believe, and UBS are supposed to not be 100% convinced about doing this, which is my problem with them. They seem to have the most financial muscle and that's why i went for them, but how much of that would we see?

Belgravia are really looking towards the casino, in fact so much so that seems to be more of a focus than the club, but apparently these lots are the only lot to make a formal bid so far.

As for Gillet, were second best, and although i dont know much about the guy, he's been bankrupt before IIRC, and ended up taking millions out of his companies to start other adventures. I doubt this one will go any further, although i think he maybe back in for Liverpool as the other bid for them has fallen short again.

To be honest, the only owners we know anything about are the Shephards. I don't see how anyone could come to a sensible conclusion about which one of those options would be best for the club. There's just no way of knowing - it's not like choosing a prospective manager, whose skills you know about already.

Better the Devil you know?

Not so sure. Real businessmen could turn take this club to the next level.

That isn't my point. Possibly better the devil you know, possibly not. How could anyone really say that Belgravia would be better than Polygon or vice-versa? How could they possibly know?

Polygon cause they're American, and when you look what Americans spend in the NBA and NFL, you'd wanna have some of that too ;)

From what they've heard so far, and how things have developed between parties and the club.

Some people have problems with hedge funds etc, some dont, some like the idea of being backed by a bank, some dont like the idea of a faceless company owning the club.

Fans can still have an opinion about potential buyers even if they dont know fully what the buyer is about, and again another good reason why am asking.

Every single person so far has voted for change, yet like me not sure what kind of change they are about to let themselves in for, but we all know its needed, and its about time the fans found out about the potential buyers imo, including me.

New owners might be good for the club but you'd rather keep Shepherd just to piss somebody off.  bluelaugh.gif  bluelaugh.gif  bluelaugh.gif

That's the worst reason I've seen for keeping him so far, well done.

I voted Gillet! as all the Montreal fans here speak very highly of him, doesn't like to interfer with his Managers unless they start really screwing up, then he tends to step in. Likes his clubs run professionly so I voted  for him.

Quite apart from being in control of his own multi million pound business in Shepherd (Offshore), FS has slowly built NUFC up into a multi million pound business in it's own right, so for somone to say he isn't a real business man is allowing their dislike of the man to color their judgment.

I've got a job thanks, it helps pay for your social although not by choice.

So you try turning you and your comfort blanket being related into me and Macbeth being related, it doesn't work that way.  Just because the two of you are related doesn't mean everybody else on here has a relative to stick up for them and back them up when nobody else will.  As far as I know that's another thing the two of you are unique with, that and your views on our wonderful chairman.

You always lie, you're always putting words into peoples mouths when you try to win a stupid argument, you post crap constantly when you are losing the plot.  You also denied being related to your comfort blanket, you did this to make it look as if two independent people shared the same views because you thought it made your point more valid, that's a liar as far as I'm concerned.

I think you'll find that Sir John did that.
