UK Politics: Generation Tory

Recommended Posts

I was with Pure Planet until last week. Had already started a move to Scottish Power despite my DD going up by well over double. It's a shame as they seemed a really decent supplier, but wanted to lock in again and took a chance.

Wow, surprised Pure Planet have gone given the BP backing.

Trusting an oil company is like trusting Mike Ashley with managers.

Solid day of discourse on dogshit island.

- Ex Labour MP likely off to jail

- Javid attacking GPs

- People getting more angry about some shite John Lewis ad than anything that actually harms lives

- Government floating the idea that it should be legal to drown migrants

The 3rd point there.....have you seen the Steve Bruce thread ?

I can't build that much hatred for someone that just hasn't been very good in a sporting arena.

Normally I’d agree but he’s a despicable duplicitous cunt and lies with the same fervour as Boris and the gang so fuck em.

Sir David Amess

Quick comb through their voting record:

Almost always voted against allowing marriage between two people of same sex

Almost always voted against equal gay rights

Generally voted against measures to prevent climate change

Almost always voted against paying higher benefits over longer periods for those unable to work due to illness or disability

Almost always voted against spending public money to create guaranteed jobs for young people who have spent a long time unemployed

Generally voted against raising welfare benefits at least in line with prices

Almost always voted for reducing the rate of corporation tax

Almost always voted against a banker’s bonus tax

Almost always voted for stronger enforcement of immigration rules

Yes that's it, I knew I recognised him from somewhere more specific than a generic MP that I've seen on the news.

Yikes, not good. Saying that I’m genuinely surprised it doesn’t happen more often.

Police have arrested the bloke who did it already. Could be a +11 moment if he’s the right demographic.

I wonder what the stats bear out in terms of violence against MPs. Feels like an upward trend.

Would’ve thought so, can’t imagine many of the identikit backbenchers have a particularly strong, or any, security detail either. Not that they should need one of course.

Awful, this is what happens when you stoke division non-stop. You get angry people ruining their own lives and other people’s

I feel bad for saying this, but the Tory spin doctors will now be working on this to attack Labour. Just watch.

Umm the guy got stabbed? It doesn’t matter who he’s part of as it’s shocking this has happened. Or is he to blame because he’s not left wing enough?

Hope he makes a full recovery.
