Keggy_Keagal
On my windows 10pc my cd/dvd drive has disappeared? I've no idea when this happened but even in device manager it appears to have gone . Utterly stumped .
Infinitely Content
Boot to the Windows 10 desktop, then launch Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X and clicking Device Manager. Expand DVD/CD-ROM drives, right-click the optical drive listed, then click Uninstall. Exit Device Manager then restart your computer. Windows 10 will detect the drive then reinstall it. Hope that helps

Keggy_Keagal
Thanks guys , yep still use occasionally . The drive functions fine , it's on the bios, you can put a dvd or cd in it but windows doesn't see the drive so you can't use it . Fucking weird.
