Shame the sequel seems to have turned into vapourware

It'll be out this year or early next I reckon, the gameplay looked pretty well developed from the trailer they released a few years ago, it's probably just taking ages for them to get all the artwork done.

They're a relatively tiny dev studio iirc, and I'd rather they got it right on release, since Hollow Night was obviously a masterpiece.

Saying that, this is probably the only game in ages I've actually been hyped for, so I hope it's out this year

Aye, I forgot all about it. Did you play as Hornet or have I made that up?

Yeah. They'd changed the healing system too I think. Instead of the risk/reward having to stop to heal yourself you can heal instantly and need to get more damage in to refill your ability to heal.

Almost like more Bloodborne than Dark Souls.

Might be completely making that up mind. Was ages ago they showed it off.

Finding it considerably easier second playthrough, though I'm not at the Watcher Knights yet  fair way through it after only seven or eight hours (just about to start on Kingdom's Edge).

Wish I'd thought of using Sharp Shadow and the distance attack charms first time round, would have saved a lot of frustration

First try with that loadout

Gutted I lost my switch, like.

Assuming that it appears at all, of course

Years after potential release it's not even giving us release dates. Just the fact it will release at all. Worrying.
