Considering Liverpool wanted him before us as well, should have been a dead cert but he was actually worse than Dummett. Paullow Posted July 28, 2023 Share Posted July 28, 2023 Crazy to think that only 18 months ago in January 2022 that late Pedro equaliser at SJP kept us 2 points behind Watford in the relegation zone, having played a game more and a much inferior goal difference. We were «Dennis Wise»-ing all over the place. I think Lewis can do OK at Watford. He hasn’t played much in two years, and as you said he’s been «Bruced». It’s not like there weren’t other players who’d been ‘Bruced’ who were salvaged by Howe’s coaching.
