Here's a story I can really get invested in.

Would really hate to see Callum end up at Man U, not gonna lie. Would sour my memories of him here.

Hope he finds a team and some ‘autumnal’ fitness, so he can play out a season or two, get loads of goals and more happy memories of his playing days. Good servant to us through some tricky times.

Over one hundred games, five seasons, earned a place back in the England squad, and really pleased he got to taste the successes of the last few seasons.

Part of the DAZN team covering the PSG Madrid game over in the states. Obviously in no great hurry to find a new club.

Unless it’s an MLS club…

He's done the whole tournament.

He’s probably already got a few offers. He’s probably known he wasn’t re-signing for months now

Only seems like a couple of seasons ago he was as important as Izak to us.  Couldn't face going into games without him.

That was most games, so I’m not sure who had that perspective.

For me, looking at the bigger picture, Alex [Isak] has done fantastic last season and the season before so it’s difficult to get minutes.

“It’s OK, it’s not a problem but sometimes he’s not even coming off. It was five minutes here and there and I want more for myself. That was basically my decision.”

Maybe if he wasn’t so shit when coming on, he’d got more or even a start in 2nd half season. He can say it’s a challenge to make an impact of the bench, but he did himself no favours with how utterly woeful he was.

There is little doubt if he can stay fit Wilson could still contribute in the PL.

There is also no doubt he will continue to have fitness issues that hold him back. Each time it seems to take him longer to get up to speed. He just looked so poor this past year for us. A bit like Willock, with where we are at now, we can't afford to have passengers on the pitch to give the neccesary minutes to players to get up to speed.

Kinda a shame the reserves dont seem to be used for that like it used to be.

He scored 18 goals in Isak's first season. 31 appearances in the league.

He had a very good one but was only fit for about 40 games in the 2 seasons prior. Him not being available wasn’t a shock to anyone.

Looks done to me as a PL contributor. We ended up with a broken Ian Rush, and he was more prolific than Callum, and it was a painful watch. Hope he finds a good fit somewhere

What did you make of John Barnes' contribution for us?

EDIT: And Stuart Pearce's?
