Never got to see him and until relatively recently he was still playing in the UK. Always thought Id get the chance to go and see them. Their early stuff was trailblazing and carried on creating new stuff from there on. Such a huge influence on so many. I think his lyrics are amazing and the real embodiment of everything that music is. It's so simple, yet so clever and considered. And he was always such a brilliant singer.
