I think it's totally inevitable that it'll be tried again, and it'll be delivered in a way that isn't totally amateur and immediately doomed to fail. Anyone wittering on about victories for fans and/or giving any credence whatsoever to owners' messages to fans needs to realise that they're playing right into the distraction tactics and not helping anyone. These institutions should be massively, irreversibly deterred, but they won't be. So frustrating.

This is why the book should have been thrown at them.

This is where the 14 clubs need to get act together and also attempt removing Masters and Hoffman. These 2, I think we’ll find out in due course knew exactly what was being planned.

Indeed. All that's happened is they've learned how not to do it. The idea that they've changed their opinions due to the uproar is completely laughable. These people well never change, they need forced out.

Its definitely happening again, like someone has already said it will be repackaged and will have a much more slicker roll out.  Grease a few more palms and get the likes of Sky involved with the TV deal and they will use their platform to sell it to the armchair fans.

This "Oh we listened to the fans" stuff is such bollocks, if City and Chelsea hadn't pulled out Liverpool and Man U would absolutely be going ahead with it still.

So would Spurs, Levy comes across as one of the most despicable and devious cunts in football at present.

With project big picture and  the Super League attempt multiple attempts in a year to hijack the football pyramid for their own gain at the cost of others should see massive repercussions, other wise they will be trying something new before we know it.  Can't see it happening though.

Absolutely they’ve been complicit in PBP and known about the ESL plans from the start. Kick the cunts out, the big 6 will be out voted and have no other league to run to. Strike while the irons hot and wipe that smarmy grin of fucking Masters face.

What is the end game for any industry or business under capitalism? It's monopoly. The rich clubs will continue to get richer at the expense of the poor clubs until the poor clubs are no longer able to sustain themselves. I'm not sure what happens after that. Perhaps the the rich clubs will find a way to buy them out and run them as talent farms. Perhaps all football outside the super league is reduced to an amateur sport. Even after that, the competition would continue within the super league, presumably until Google own every team.

What talk has their been of clubs having to pay fines for breaking whatever contracts they were supposed to have signed?

Doesn’t look like PL are going to do shit, so be great if it all costs them for breaking some sort of agreement they rushed into.

A figure of £120m was reported by the Spanish media outlet AS, but that was from Perez’s ramblings, so not clear if it’s true or not.
