He has a lot about him but I'm not sure he's quite at the level to dominate a PL game in the manner he was trying to. And if Forest are hoping he will they might be disappointed.

I wasn't that bothered selling him because he basically didn't feature for us, but it would've been nice to have him as another option. That said, we have Miley and we should have Ramsey.

Overall he had a good game and I'm sure he'll get better because he has lots of strengths, but I would put him at good rather than superb at the moment.

Aye. He’s overrated on here now because he doesn’t play for us anymore. He’s a very talented footballer but what was his major impact on the game yesterday other than fouling Bruno for a penalty? He might be superb one day but he’ll need to impact games a lot more than that.

Forest run so much through him that it inflates some stats, but we really gave up some player.

Touches, progressive passes, and passes into final third are all first in the PL.

Shot creating actions and carrying distance are 2nd. Tackles won, shot creating actions/90, and goal creating actions are top 10.

Tonali is a bit of an unfair comparison because the load of pro-active passing and chance creation is shared between Bruno, Tonali and Trippier as well as our centre backs, the load is more spread.

Who at Forrest is going to do it other than Anderson?

Was starting a fair bit before the back injury. After aswell, but that was due to all the other injuries.

Might be overrated by some, but I also think he is underrated by others. Wouldn't be surprised if he becomes a regular starter for England.

As much as Howe has heaped praise, I don’t think we’d be in for him even if the fee was reasonable. Maybe if they got relegated he might have some clause.. he’s to sort the Joelinton problem first.

Limited sample size as far as what I've seen but aye it's not Tonali's role at all.

I'm sure he could do it if we asked him to though, he seems to be able to do pretty much every fucking thing else.

I've only seen Anderson once, which was our game against Forest recently where Tonali and Bruno bossed it.

So I won't judge him on that and just say everyone else seems to think really highly of him so he's very likely class.

We messed up horribly. Move on though. Don’t add more pain by overpaying to bring him back.

If there’s ever an opportunity to get him at a reasonable price, sure.

Go on then. How's that?

he's bang average

Nah, he’s a really player on most attributes, very good at carrying, very good in duels, very good passing and vision / understanding of the game. Not a great finisher but on most things he’s very solid. His close control is excellent

Anderson I get because he’s local, but have no idea how people can be attached to players who never did anything for us.

Minteh? You ever seen a young player and buy stocks in them? They don't even need to play for my club.

Signing for us obviously helps. I also think he's perfect for Howe. Pressing monster, direct, quick, great final ball/shot. Biggest weakness is limited build-up, Howe doesn't believe in that anyway. It's a match made in heaven.

I don't like Brighton for him. They price their players out of good moves so often. Palace will give a lad a decent release clause - Olise and Eze could've gone to a dozen clubs. Unlikely Minteh has a release clause, the distressed nature of the sale, he didn't like the alternatives etc.

He's got to stop scoring against us mind.

He’s made 508 passes this season in the league. Tonali has 311, Bruno has 212 and Joelinton has 107.

Surprised at the difference between Tonali and Anderson. Not so much at the other two. What’s their pass completion percentages? Surely Joelinton’s the worst?

Anderson - 85.5

Bruno - 81.8

Tonali - 80.3

Joelinton - 80.1

Think he'd be good for us, Villa, Spurs or Man Utd. Dangerously close to Rodwell, Barkley, Phillips territory if he went to one of Liverpool, City, Chelsea or Arsenal. International football should be a doddle for most PL players against 90% of the sides we face.

Sometimes you chalk it up to experience, there's too much water under the bridge and he'll never come back.

Sometimes you just know it's MTB and he'll come back no matter what.
