Would love to see a midfield of Anderson, Tonali and Bruno. The physicality and speed of Anderson and Tonali would oppress a lot of other midfields and give Bruno some offensive freedom, of which we've seen lately how good Bruno is a little further forward.

 

Don't think it'll happen sadly. The prices listed are mental, so the only chance is Forest getting relegated or something. Even then I think there'd be competition that'd elevate the price.

 

Happy to see Elliot flourishing though.

Nope IMO. It’s just if one of those clubs are happy to move this summer and pay the premium, talking £70m+, they likely have a clean run and Anderson won’t ever turn one of them down to stay at Forest and hope we come next summer. As football is short, we could move on if form dipped / other targets better value, he could get a long term injury etc. 

 

I’d love him back, but think it will have to be £65m mark tops that sees us then walk away. Forest imploding and needing a sale next summer could help us, as even though he’s got long left, giving MGWs that new deal has probably killed off his future sale.

He has the highest number of duels won this season, not just for midfielder, for any player. The same applies to ball recoveries. He's never shy about putting in a tackle or going for aerials and he's successful in part due to strength / speed.

It's really not though...it's crying out for someone who can unlock a defence when a team have 10 men behind ball.. I like Anderson but he's not the player we need today imo, we need someone who produces brilliance not another strong technical footballer

Zero goals and one assist this season. Take the black and white specs off, he’s a decent player and I like him but we are an ‘elite’ team and should be looking much higher.
