35% possession against 10 men. Unforgivable

Absolutely. It screams bad management. He'll try and deflect it onto the players, but what a fucking fat pillock.

Was anyone listening to the game on Talksport? I don’t know who was speaking but there was some horrendous ‘punditry’ near the end.

“Newcastle fans should be pleased, they’ve been asking for entertainment all season”

“They had their expectations raised a bit high by that mid-90s entertainers team”

“Bruce has had lots of criticism, but he’s kept them up so he’s done his job”

”Steve Bruce tends to finish between 10th to 14th so that what you should expect. He’s not suddenly going to finish in the top four”

makes me furious hearing shit like that

That interview made absolutely no sense. Claimed he told the players not to sit too deep in the second half, then went on to say we had done so well sitting deep in the first half, then said after the equaliser we went back on the  front foot. Wtf?

He’ll be here next season. Another season of not giving a bobbins about NUFC. Can’t wait.

If he has any sense whatsoever (so pretty unlikely) he'll resign at the end of the season.

Assuming we avoid relegation, if he leaves then he can claim that he managed to keep the club in the league for 2 years despite takeover problems, injury problems and a global pandemic.  He can even blame Ashley for making his job impossible since no one is going to defend how the club is run.  He won't have to face a full crowd screaming abuse at him when fans can return to grounds.  He's not going to improve the team any more but if he leaves and we improve he can claim that it was down to the "solid foundations" that he laid & if the next manager is somehow worse and we get relegated he can claim that he left the club in a good place, etc.  A large number of the useless melts that support us will even claim that he did a decent job of keeping us up.  It's not like he needs to work to pay the bills and he'll easily walk into a punditry job.

If he stays we'll do this all over again except he'll get to experience full crowds baying for his head after he fucks up again.  He might get a nice payoff if he gets sacked though so if more money is all he cares for that's what he'll do.

Not an ounce of control over anything. You can tell the players are just making it up as they go along out there, certainly in terms of going forward.

5 at the bck against 10 men. what the fuck. should have changed it within 10 minutes of the second hald when they were all over us.

Jones needs to get just as much stick. we know bruce is thick but jones should have stepped in and had a word.

Hearing him talking about plans for the summer market makes my blood run cold.

They'll be "cutting wer cloth" accordingly in line with the pademic/post pandemic environment he reckons, which if we actually did would be an improvement on deliberately doing as close to nothing as possible 9 times out of 10.

negative and basic anti-football yet keep getting away with it, scamming by with outrageous fortune - its truly his team

He'll not be here in August.
