Steve Bruce (now unemployed)

I don’t understand why people are shitting themselves like. There’s been absolutely no indication that they want to keep him. As much as we’d like him to have been potted first thing yesterday morning in the real world there are things like contracts, admin and even more importantly understanding the impact of sacking most of our coaching staff in preparation for the next game.

Tend to agree logically, but I’ll also be really disappointed if he’s on the touchline against Spurs. Definitely wouldn’t be able to celebrate the new era fully.

It'll be hilarious man. Everyone singing positive songs about Amanda, Bruce appears and the comedy booing starts.

As I said before, make him think he's getting his 1000th game then sack him 5 minutes before kick off on the pitch.

Wholeheartedly agree and not what I meant really.

I understand Jones is part of the issue whether that's because of his doing or whatever, but we stand to lose nothing shedding Bruce off with Jones still there.

In fact it'd be worse on Sunday if Bruce was there regardless of result.

Don't get this Jones love at all...despite his influence were still a diabolical team to watch, and his record isn't great at all. Being marginally better than Steve doesn't make him any good.

Yes he impressed enough to make the England coaching scene, but the fact he left almost immediately after the tournament should show he's nothing special. If he was the FA would have tried to keep him

He should be out the door with the Steves. We don't need a failed league 2 manager running a team in the top level

You have to have someone there on Sunday - and it can't be Bruce. Realistically, is their time to get a manager in now, without rushing it and potentially making a bad decision?

IMO, sack Bruce, tell Graeme he has a few games as caretaker manager while they appoint a full time team.

No one will care on sunday if its Jones leading them out, the atmosphere will be horrendous if its Bruce still. He has to go simple.

Suspect he’s only there on a  Temporary basis…..can’t sack everyone ,someone has to do the coaching and run the team till a full time replacement is found.Whether Jones will be asked to stay on in a coaching capacity will be up to the new manager.

Don’t think a single person would boo Jones. They don’t see him as any bit of the ass that is Bruce. Today is Tuesday, match is Sunday. There’s time.

Everyone in Saudi will be watching. The world will be watching. Yasir is flying in for it. There’s no logical reason to allow Bruce to have any bit of impact on Sunday.

Shouldn't have even bothered taking over the club if they weren't prepared to trebuchet Bruce into the sea within 24 hours of completing the sale. Absolutely shambolic.

May be method in the madness here. If (When) Spurs beat us and Bruce sacked with immediate effect after may be used as signal of intent of expected performance and our road to ambition

Or we win and he stays, they won’t sack him after a win.
