If he really wants to highlight sports washing and campaign against Saudi, that’s great and I’m sure there are loads of pieces he could write.

Just weird that he seems to specially blame and hate our club and fans… it’s really not our fault Oliver.

Edit: TBF he loves slagging off this new golf thing as well.

There’s probably about 10 people that revel in calling themselves the Saudi Mags, if that.

He’s very strange.

It was actually one person on Twitter, someone who actually lives out there as well. ?

He's utterly delusional.

 It’s true. It isn’t Saudi he hates it’s Newcastle. He’s constantly digging at the fans not the Saudi state.

He’s a piss soaked little deviant.

Alice band nonce.

Oliver Holt - bless

Newcastle United has already been turned into an obedient, fawning vassal state, but even the portion of the fanbase that revels in calling itself the Saudi Mags may now be beginning to realise that it is a plaything, a pawn in a much, much bigger game.

A statement made with no evidence to back this up, what a joker.

Would accept it if the bloke hadn’t spent a month in Qatar, stopping in a 5 star hotel in Doha and no doubt bucking Qatari brass all paid for by the company he works for back in December. The fucking poncey looking prick.

Nose deep in the hospitality trough. But aye, he wrote a couple of moderately critical articles so that expunges all his guilt.

The bloke is just after clicks - we don’t have to read his tweets - doesn’t bother me in the slightest

I'm not really sure why folk don't just ignore Holt.

It's fairly obvious he's a bad faith actor, who was more than happy to bat for Saudi when Anthony Joshua was fighting over there.

This is the problem with our online fan base though. All criticism of our majority owners, whether legitimate or not (such as Holt's bile) is taken personally and seen as an attack on the club. As the club becomes more relevant and successful, it's only getting worse too. So rather than carrying on like sensitive, thin-skinned bairns, it's best to engage with the sensible stuff and ignore the obvious bait, rather than give the author the desired reaction.
