This is such a weird feeling. For roughly 10-15 years of my life I lived and breathed Newcastle United Football Club from afar. The results on weekend would set the tone for the feeling of the whole coming week. However, for the past 5 to 10 years I've fallen out of love with the club. Mike Ashley and Alan Pardew being the two main reasons. And now, with the greatest news in the clubs recent history I have no idea what to feel. Honestly, feel kind of empty right now. :(

Same scenario for me. 9 years ago I said I’d never go back to a match whilst that cunt Ashley owned the club. Since then I’ve drifted further and further away each year and the hollow shell of NUFC stopped being of any interest.

Today my exile is over.

Today I’m BUZZING.

Better than cowies this feeling.

Over 30yrs I've been hoping for this. The way we've had to wait and wait, and wait more, has made me never think it would happen, that day is now, this club will give me everything I felt all those years ago back again.

This lad on SSN, when asked about SB sympathy: "We've had more takeovers than wins, this season!"

What a cracking line

What a bloody damned disgrace.

Have they not flung that guy Bruce from the roof top yet?!

I know what you mean, think I'll never get that feeling back.

Maybe now we can just support the team a sensible amount and not have it take over our lives, though?

Fuck am I doing agreeing with your sensible ass

Don't overthink it.  For now just be relieved that Ashley is gone for now forever :)

Well, he's still alive no?  Jokes aside, yes. I hope I'll be buzzing when the transfer rumours gets going again. :

This is sinking in as each minute passes and the more and more I watch and hear. I havent felt this this since... Probably Bobby. Even Rafa era was no where near because of the caveats that were impossible to ignore. That was some sunny days during a perpetual winter. But this is me all in again. Tempted to paint black stripes on my house in Leeds. Fuck it I dont even want to live here anymore I want to come back!! My identity is back.

Feels like the end of Return of the Jedi right now.

Been so negative about pretty much everything about the club for so long that I'm finding it difficult to flick that switch back on again if I'm being honest. Sure I'll manage though :aww:

This is exactly how I feel at the moment (well apart from painting black stripes on a house in Leeds ). Well summed up.
