Wonder if their is much media interest in tomorrow, besides the local guys.

There won't be but there should be.

It's not even a NUFC story, this is potentially a door that opens up on the inner dealings of the Premier League. That's national news, nobody gives a shit if we are taken over or not in the press.

That’s not what a lot of other people are saying though pal. Apparently it will be a quick hearing to decide on whether the case gets heard at all. Should be a straight forward yay or nay.

Other recent jurisdiction challenges on the CAT site have taken about a month from the hearing to the decision.

While this is all going on, reports that a Dubai company want to pay off Barcelona’s £1.5m debts with a long-term, low interest loan. Fucking bollocks, football is.

That sounds a bit low mate

What's the payments on that £50 million a year for 30 year plus interest ?

Expect the worst but hope for the best. Anything to do with Newcastle! Good things never last and remember tomorrow is just a jurisdiction hearing. It'll rule whether the competition court case should go ahead in the first place eventually, although the ruling on that shouldn't be tomorrow if I'm not mistaken?

£1.5m? I know typo but not sure they need Dubai money for that :). Unfortunately the big clubs know they will get bailed out one way or another and they are like gambling addicts thinking the only way out is to spend more and more. Infuriating it works.

It's playing devil advocate, but if they Premier League are to win essentially they're a law unto their own - would the ramifications of this seal an already closed shop? The argument could go either way, but a win for the League might stave off that independent regulation as they've been shown to be"fit for purpose"

If we lose the takeover the club should resign from the EPL citing the failure to allow any challenges to the top 6 clubs.  Join the SPL instead!

We’d struggle in that league man.
