Love what the Bulls have done in free agency. Is DeRozan official yet?! If so that is outstanding work. Huge fan of Lonzo and think he will setup that scoring trio of Lavine, De Rozan and Vuc all day and night.

Williams can then now also settle into that Power Forward spot and focus on becoming the defensive specialist he has been and growing from there. Fantastic stuff.

Also really like what Toronto have done too.

Nicking Achiuwa off the Heat for a 35 year old Lowry is top work. Having Achiuwa, Siakham, Anunoby, and Scottie Barnes together in lineups at some stage is going to be a nightmare defensively for teams.

$8million for Kemba? He may well be finished but at that price I’m in.

It's a great move.

Knicks have improved on a pretty good team from last year, and mostly with deals that are not long term killers, and so are very tradeable if need be. Knicks are looking good man.

Going to be a terrific season in the east. So many interesting teams that are well balanced.

Read that DeRozan was talking to the clippers as well.

Nah - It’s turned into a retirement home.

Brody is still some player but Lebron, Melo etc are all in the twilight of their career.

It's going to be a great watch just from a fascination point of view.

Could be a very very interesting car crash of a season

This Ben Simmons trade saga is very interesting. He could literally end up anywhere at the moment.

I think social media is doing him a little dirty, his recent form has been terrible but there’s a 3 time all star in there. Would love to see him with the Clippers but I doubt they’ve got any tradeable assets that the 76ers would actually find viable. They certainly ain’t gunna give up PG or Kawhi.

Honestly, I really don't understand why the Blazers don't just move Lillard for Simmons and get Maxey thrown in too.

Dame has paid his dues in Portland and is not going to win anything there and he is now beginning to get on a bit at 31 years old.

Portland is a great fit for Simmons as they have a ton of scoring and shooting and Simmons natural playmaking and excellent defense is exactly what they need to round out the team perfectly. Simmons along with the excellent addition of Larry Nance would make that team very interesting indeed.

Nurkic, Nance, Covington, Powell, McCollum, Simmons, Maxey, McLemore and Zeller is a really strong core group with some other interesting young pieces in Anfernee Simmons and Nasir Little.

A complete no brainer move IMO.

Kyrie not being able to play home games is fucking glorious.

I mean, we all knew how stupid he was when he came out as a Flat Earther, but homeboy just doubled down.

Also, if any non vaxxed players get caught out in public in my home town, it's $750,000 fine coming your way. Whew! Raps in the playoffs again during a rebuild!!!

How in the mother fucking hell did Trey Murphy drop to 17.

Dude is a certified sniper, gonna be funny watching defenders trying to help off Zion this year now the anchors around his neck are gone.

@Fenham Mag looks like it's time to rule the entire sporting world.

I know it's just pre-season, but the way the ball is being zipped around already was fantastic. Lonzo always seems to have that effect on teams when he is running the show, Caruso also plays with his head up too. Think it's going to be a really good year for you guys.

I've been hopeful at the start of seasons that young players may kick on in recent years but this is the first where I truly feel the team could make some noise. I know it was only the Cavs but apart from Zach there wasn't a single other player that played who was at the Bulls at the start of last season (Coby & Pat out injured). That they came together that well in their first game, pre-season or not, has me really excited.

Also think the 'but defense!!!' stuff is way overblown. The team was a middling defensive team last year and actually improved a bit after Vooch's arrival. Demar is replacing Lauri bloody Markkanen, not Giannis. And while most will be coming off the bench, there's more than enough players brought in where D is a big part of their game. With Caruso's defense for example, I can't wait to see how he and White mesh in the second unit.
