TheInfiniteOdyssey
One of our worst results in recent history so big questions will be asked regardless.

We're playing Cambridge ffs It's not primarily decision making though. It's poor touches, heavy passes, shite attempts to finish chances.

Yeah agreed. These are all things Howe was supposedly good at coaching and improving in players.

SUPERTOON
The manager absolutely takes the blame when you lose at home to league 1 opposition.

At what point does the accumulation of bad decisions become bad management? Suppose we will find out by February.

54
Thats game was our season in a microcosm, players unable to finish, unable to take a touch, unable to put the ball in the net, and a gifted chance at the other end from our shitty defense. This players are unbelievably hopeless, the lack of quality is actually astounding. Can't even blame Howe for it, as tactically we where fine and dominated the game, players where in the spaces need to be to score a good 4/5 chances, but we where too shite to do anything with it. Beth
One crumb of comfort is it'll probable be the last time Longstaff ever starts a game for us. But as for Howe, it's all been a bit meh up to now, feels like a stopgap appointment.

I did however see over hit passes, misses from 6 yards, 2 disallowed goals and a great save at the end there.
Andy
Confidence in front of goal has been the biggest factor today like, with a decent striker on the pitch we would've put the game to bed comfortably. He literally has no viable options up top so it's difficult to be too critical until that problem is solved.
Smal
There are problems all over the pitch to be honest. We can blame our defence for recent losses but today the midfield and forwards looked totally clueless apart from Shelvey. To the extent where you're not sure what they worked on in training. Elephant
Im not at all impressed by Howe, if you compare it to Gerrard at Villa, it seems very likely that we made wrong decision.

The Merse
At some point there has to be questions asked - he cannot be completely blameless - yes the players are pretty poor but they are not League one poor - he cannot be absolved on this basis
Alan Pardew
Shades of Moyes' 81 crosses. Absolutely got it wrong today. Still backing him but questions must be asked.

nemtizz
Aside from a few great performances from Joelinton I have yet to see any improvement in the team at all since he's been here. Only real concernable difference is the pressing but it's not enough.
