Transfer rumours

Yep, poor team with some good players but glaring flaws and a manager who's lost all confidence from his players.

Who are the worse three teams - Burnley, Norwich and Brentford? All three will get points from us this season.

Burnley battle hardened with superior manager. 2 goal scorers in Wood and Barnes.

Brentford look vibrant, fit, pass well, loads of movement and progressive attack minded manager. Toney has looked strong and impressive so far.

Norwich have made some interesting signings some we we’re linked with and have a decent manager. Pukki will get goals.

I think we possibly finish above Norwich but far from convinced about other 2.

I think this season could be most toxic for years and might even kick off big time against Leeds on a Friday night when they put us to sword. Be plenty of Leeds scattered around ground making themselves known just to increase temperature.

I still find it hilarious that people were expecting something different from our transfer window. Based on what exactly?

Its like the first game of the season attendance, everyone still clinging onto that little bit of hope.

Wilson will miss games, ASM will miss games, there’s no way we

can stick a plaster over the loss of a Wilson injury. You need goals to stay up. We’re in huge trouble.

Bruce will toe the line, shame, it be great to see Bruce throw a paddy and do off.

If he's only "vaguely improving" the squad then why the fuck is being targeted by Bruce? He doesn't get a "vague improvement" loan in? So fuck? What's the big issue?

Such a ridiculous argument. You could pick strengths and weaknesses in any team in the league.

There isn't much to choose between any of the bottom 6-7 sides.

While true, not one of those clubs is run the way we are. Whatever enthusiasm the players and fans have, has just been extinguished by the way the idiots running our club act.

Don't underestimate how much damage this is going to do to an already fragile squad, with a buffoon of manager in the dug out.

The main difference though is that most of these 6 to 7 sides have strengthened and tried to improve. One hasn’t and standing still in the PL usually results in going backwards.

It was always the case and the fat fuck will use it as an excuse.

Yep, he sure will. And the bullshit argument already doing the rounds that we needed to get a player out is nonsense, you just leave one out like Atsu last season.

I have no doubt we'll be in and about the relegation scrap again. I just think as with last season, we possess individual quality that other sides don't and that will be enough to keep us up.

The way we're ran we fully deserve to go down though, it'll be relatively funny if we do.

Southampton and Burnley haven't strengthened. Neither have Brighton really, although you'd expect Potter to keep them out of trouble.

There was 2 domestic and 3 international loan deals available to replace the 150-200k per week gaps from the players who have left. The fact that not one of those options were used is probably the most damming decision made under the Ashley era (that takes some doing also).

He can’t use the excuse of leaving current players out either, as he had no hardship doing that with certain players in the past two seasons. He also can’t use the excuse of signing Willock as seemingly the transfer fee is being staggered and not paid up front. This will probably be covered this year by the fees received from Lejuene and Armstrong.

This season is going to be nasty, Bruce should resign but he won’t and this will increase the pressure.

Bruce can’t complain as he was telling us all how wonderful his bosses were for signing Willock (obviously he thought the tongue 👅 rimming would pay dividends later in the window) yet all he has been left with is 💩 on his wonky nose 👃
