Said “Can’t wait til we get an actual manager” and was met with loads of nackas breaking their necks to tell me that we’ll have the same players.

Don’t care what anyone says, a decent manager can get a tune out of this team.

I'm baffled why he picked the same team that were played off the park at Palace like.

It is becoming obvious that he was in charge all along. He needs to go once we get a new manager in.

Just goes to show how rancid the squad management has been over the long term. Rafa did his best but his way of doing it was spending to improve, unfortunately he never got the money to replace the players he intended to and they’re still starting premier league games long after a side like Brighton or palace would have moved them on.

A big time manager and spending loads of money in January is the only way out of this.

For a team that parks the bus, I wish we would close the door and shut the windows. Never seen a team leave so much space with 9 defending. It’s baffling.

Jones same team and subs for 2 weeks running.

It's like with Bruce in charge still.

And we improved on keeping Palace goalless for 55 mins to keeping Chelsea goalless for 65. Jones' coaching has clearly had an impact. But the reality is we have an unfit championship squad [couple of outliers] with league two facilities. Even Pep would struggle.

Whats interesting to me is that with there zonal marking, no one is actually taking any leadership role out there. The amount of time the Chelsea players had at times within the box when we had six outfield players in the box is baffeling.

Why do we not press at all?

It's baffling.

Every single match, one of our players jogs towards the opponent. Opponent passes ball, player runs back into postion and another player jogs towards the new opponent that got the ball and so on and so on until the opponent find a run or some space to create something.

Every single match, whenever we get the ball, the opponent team closes our player down with at least 2 players resulting in either a back pass, an aimless hoof or outright losing possession.

Yeah ok, in what way?

We look better drilled defensively, but we offer actually even less in possession and threat going forward.

And even though we DO look a bit better drilled defensively, it's pointless if you don't have any threat at the other end because defending for 90 minutes is impossible and will lead to the opposition almost inevitably scoring and you have no mechanism of scoring one yourself beyond relying on some kind of magic or wonder goal.

If you cannot carry the ball up the other end of the pitch and attack as a unit, you'll lose virtually every game you play.

Is there nobody decent in the free market we can sign?! We need a Kevin Gallacher style impact signing.

Aye. Could do with a Killer, and a Sheedy. Think we better bring things forward and get Bracewell and Venison at the same time.

[emoji38] Are you keeping up with it? It’s been the usual abysmal performance. We try to park the bus but can’t even do that properly. Absolutely no difference to when Bruce was there. It’s all his coaches still, so it’s bound to be the same old shite.

Well hopefully this will speed up the new manager appointment. We've been utterly woeful in all aspects.

Of course they have and that was easy to see what would happen, before a ball was kicked. That decision to hold the subs was Sunday League stuff.
