If it was proposed in advance of the transfer window or in advance of any postponed games then maybe there was a slim chance it could have happened but as it is now it's absurd to think this goes anywhere

How does it even work? If we sell 5 players and sign 5 players, are we expected to just play with a reduced squad?

‘Sorry, we have to ask for a postponement - we’ve got five injuries and Ralph reckons we’re not allowed to play our five new signings …’

Love to see the precedent it sets for postponements of games where star players are known to be injured/away just before the kick-off. Salah off to the ACON and a Liverpool match is postponed in that period? "Sorry mate, he wasn't supposed to be around when you were supposed to play us, so he can't play for the rescheduled match". Fuck off Ralph.

Big Ralph confirming that Southampton are pushing to have newly signed players ineligible for rearranged fixtures.

Other than the fact that its totally unworkable, good luck with that.

So if a club sell player after a game is postponed, the club should be able to take him back for one rearranged game?

Bet his new club would like that...

How would that even work?  If we buy 6 and sell 6 does that mean we have to get the 6 players back.

if Everton sack Rafa does that mean he has to be reinstated for the postponed games.

fuckin idiots
