Kieran Trippier (now playing for Wolves)

Think he's looked so much fitter and sharper this pre season. Keep!

He's looked every bit a major leader in all of our videos you see in the preseason as well - he's spending a ton of time with Gordon, Bruno, Joelinton etc. Seems also very much more settled now post off-field stuff as well.

Mind you, I'd kill to live in Monaco and get paid a fat footballers wedge.

What would he be worth? To us probably priceless but even if they put 5 or 10m down for him i have no confidence we would find a replacement.

Going into a champions league campaign with him looking more focused sounds like a non starter to me.

Let's hope Howe has no gentleman’s agreement to allow him to go if he wants to

If we can get a good fee for him we should be looking to sell and reinvest in a younger player who can push Tino. If everyone is fit I don't see Trippier getting in our starting 11.

Disagree think he's looked really good again back end of the season and in pre season.

I'd give another year, unlikely we're going to get a good fee anyway he's 35 next month

Absolutely amazing that people still seem to want to completely ignore the reality of PSR. Monaco want to pay money for our 34 year old backup right back? Obviously it depends on the fee, but if it's anything remotely reasonable then you have to accept it.

We could be playing around 60 games this season, he’ll get plenty of game time IMO.

We've gone back and forth on Tripps and there was a time where selling him seemed best for all parties. Not a chance now imo; I'd hate to see him go, and I'd really hope everyone involved thinks the same thing.

He's not just a back up right back. Unless we've got a very good idea for replacing him, he'll be going nowhere. And no idea why people are assuming any offer will be as much as £5m-£10m either...

Unless Trippier pushes for the move because it's like a 2 year deal, then there's no reason for us to sell with 12 months left.

Need his leadership with UCL this season, and I'm not sure what the RB alternative would be that's within a realistic fee?

Nope. We’ve got loads of games to play and his experience and leadership is incredibly valuable.

Think this transfer window only highlights the importance of having someone like Trippier around. As long as his head is fine now he’ll be a huge asset off the pitch and will still provide some quality on it
