Twitter is suggesting he’s not injured at all, and it’s something else.

So that’s him, Pope and Elanga that we’re just pretending to be injured?

From what I saw on Twitter yesterday, it was a guy called Joel Bland who had tweeted that Trippier wasn't injured, but he's now deleted the tweet and put his account on private. No idea if he's a gobshite or not, have a feeling he is.

He is.

Although TBF I think he used to get team news and leak it early. Before stopping/being asked to stop.

Saw that, and then people started putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with the idea that excessive drinking was the actual reason he’s not playing.

Not saying this is what's happened here because I don't know, but I do know that he gets stuff from journalists that they wouldn't publish themselves.

Honestly I don't really care about when he's back. He should never have been our backup RB this season. Miley looks better there, but you can bet that Trippier would still take his place if he came available now.

He’s completely toast as a PL player and we made a balls up keeping him around, definitely from a playing perspective. Even the much vaunted leadership he brought in those first two years seems to have vaporised since his missus caught him Ringoing for a bunk up with some random.

Apparently he isnt injured either and hes not playing as hes been "protected" as hes moving to Frankfurt in January

The absolute shite people spew on twitter is hilarious.

That is absolute nonsense, like. He was having a good season prior to his injury and we've missed him. Clearly not one for the future but he was extremely dependable backup. Literally only need to read back two or three pages in this thread to see folks singing his praises.

Yep.

All the current injured players arent really injured, they're just not playing because theyre "strongly rumoured" to be leaving soon or are mates with Isak. Sounds legit and exactly how a club operates.
