TRon
Love how quick he takes the throw ins. Shows he's still got the football brain even if the legs aren't what they were.
Optimistic Nut
Another one like Bruno who for me is in club legend category. Could have easily given the armband to Tonali, Botman or Pope, giving it to Miley was just brilliant.

Pilko
He's been amazing for us but this should be his final few months now. That performance today was old yeller, "I'll do it" behind the curtain, George and Lennie endgame stuff. Still a warrior and a leader and a legend, of course. Although I also think Howe has hung him out to dry with 3 starts across the week. Especially when his legs have clearly gone and he’s just back from injury. Not being smart after the event. I said as much during the week. Broken clocks and all that
Gallowgate Toon
Just slowed things down far too much, for me. Probably because he's knackered
Fak
Aye unfortunately that was his worst appearance for us imo. Usually when his pace is found wanting against a winger he's still quite composed when on the ball. Not today.
Andy
His passing is sloppy as fuck, and on more than one occasion he was flailing his arms blaming Miley/Barnes for not being where the ball went, despite it literally just being a sloppy and lazy pass. Didn't think he defended too badly in the main but his standards on the ball have dropped massively.
Weezertron
He can have both the keys to the city, and also to the exit door
Elliottman
There’s absolutely no way he should have been starting that game today. 3 games in a week at his age, there was only ever going to be one outcome. Can’t understand why Miley didn’t start there and Ramsay in the middle. Can’t complain about fatigue and PSR yet play the same 11 just about week in week out. Smal
we are asking way too much of him
RobsonsWonderland
This one baffled me I know Eddie has his favorites but it's obvious he could and should not be playing back to back games Especially when his replacement was man of the match leading up to his recall. Cf
He needs to be playing much much fewer minutes than he is both for his and the team's sake. If Bruno wasn't out he'd have been on the bench you imagine.
Lush Vlad
I know we’re hardly spoilt for choice. But seemed an odd choice starting him tonight. I said pre-game I thought he looked ropey since returning. But he was a mess tonight. He still aggressively goes after the ball and gets turned or often finds himself in no man’s land. Usually followed by flailing his arms around and blaming someone else. It’s strange that such an intelligent player who was never that quick. Keeps putting himself in these situations. The drop off is a shame. As he has been so good for us. But he was past it last season. Another year and more injuries have slowed him some more and he’s getting exposed every week. He might get away with it a bit if we play 3 CB’s or if we’re at home to someone particularly bad.
Pilko
We're getting towards Callum Wilson territory where he'll leave very fondly remembered, but where his last dozen or so games were like watching a former thoroughbred horse trying to run about the yard whilst lame. Pray we get Livra and Miley playing for most of what remains this season, give him a nice SJP cameo to round things off and wave him into the sunset. We simply can't retain this edition of him another year.
