We're getting towards Callum Wilson territory where he'll leave very fondly remembered, but where his last dozen or so games were like watching a former thoroughbred horse trying to run about the yard whilst lame.

Pray we get Livra and Miley playing for most of what remains this season, give him a nice SJP cameo to round things off and wave him into the sunset. We simply can't retain this edition of him another year.

Yep. He’s completely finished at this level now.

He looks like his legs are gone, he can't do what he could a few years ago and unfortunately can't be starting games for us. He's been excellent since signed and done a lot for the club but he's just not at it anymore.

Love the guy, been one hell of a servant for us and should always be remembered very fondly, was the first of the signings and has been quality for us

However, time catches up with all and it's most definitely caught up with him. He was never blessed with pace but his decision making was of the highest standard as was his passing but that has deteriorated massively

He's often getting passes wrong and he goes charging into areas carelessly and then it's painful watching him try and sprint back

Full back in the summer has to be the number 1 priority

You forget how many goals he cost last season? Should have been put out to pasture long ago if we are being honest.

Or right now? It’s ridiculous we haven’t addressed it

Games like this are also exactly the ones to expose all his limitations.

Love Trips, he shouldn’t be given the City and Qarabag games and then he’s an emergency use player only.

Newcastle and holding onto players far too long. Story that repeats itself time and time again

The same will happen with Willock. He should be out the door this January if there is a deal to be made.

I’d move Joelinton on too this summer

It's not fair on him at this point. If he was a horse they'd be getting the green screens out.

Talk of winning titles in 2030 but in 2026 the club won't even go out and get some kind of defensive relief for our relic right-back who's being ran into the ground and costing us every game.

That cup final performance was worth keeping him for but he shouldn’t be starting at all let alone 3 games in a week. Injuries have killed us.

Get the random bairn on.

Disagree - cup final yes brilliant - he’s been poor for over 18 months now - stayed due to pure Howe stubborn loyalty - I can name 2/3 more - you aren’t going to achieve what you want if you are ruthless - Howe isn’t - it’s been proven at Bournemouth too

I think that’s a bit unfair on Howe. The reason he hasn’t been moved on is because he has no sale value and therefore any player we buy to replace would have taken money away from other positions. It’s the same with Schär and Burn.
