Kieran Trippier (now playing for Wolves)

Recommended Posts

10 goals conceded in three games in eight days, with Trippier involved in at least half of them.

These poor results are cranking up pressure on the team, the manager, and the club. Before the Brentford winner, it was looking like another Leeds or a near-Leeds had-a-good-go effort. Conceding so easily and losing the game was very deflating. The stadium seemed stunned.

Our midfield just doesn't exist anymore, teams just run through us

Our midfield regardless of who is in it plays like 3 individuals - a part of that is that it’s 3x8s which time and time again leads to teams running at our back 4

How many times have we conceded a goal or chance from someone shooting inside the box (Wirtz, Reijnders as 2 most recent examples)

He was in Newcastle at 7.30 tonight - when are the team travelling to London ?

Probably flying down in the morning, especially with so many away games.

To be fair he was very good in the cup final,

so 2 years is ludicrously harsh. But the gig looks up now, for sure.

Perhaps I was a tad harsh. He's dead weight now though unfortunately.

Aye I saw him in gym - thought they may have had a night in London but it’s proved the right decision to let them have some time to their selves - thought he was much better tonight

It was refreshing particularly the first half that we saw more of the player we got when he first joined. Used as our creative outlet from coming out of the back and alot less backwards and sideways passes from him.

Some of the attacking pass attempts were causing all sorts of headaches for them.  Even if the crosses into the box didn't always work it still can cause chaos.

I also preferred him taken off corners for elanga and bruno.
