Heron
Apologies in advance if there's similar topics already, readily available. However, I need a bit of guidance on tablets that are; a) relatively cheap and b) half decent for graphic design Purpose being, I need to start figitally designing concepts for our (Wor) flags, and prefer Android, so was looking at the Samsung A7 Tab as a relatively cheap option at approximately £130 However, any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated, as this is outside my area of knowledge. neesy111
@Heron you post makes no sense for graphic design. A tablet for graphic design is what you use to edit via a PC/Mac. You can't use a cheap tablet for it if its anything relatively complex. Unless you want a proper mobile tablet then iPad pro is only way to go with Photoshop tbh and apple pencil which is close to a £1000. rgk_lfc
If you have a laptop or PC, you could buy a wacom tablet and connect it to the PC/Mac and use the software on the PC?
Adam
What computer do you have? You're much better off doing work on that, with software than you can export and send to printer etc vs a tablet.

Infinitely Content
Given the size of some of the flags, you're going to need software that supports vector graphics; the best out there being Adobe Illustrator. Whilst it is available as an app for tablets, the desktop program will be more comprehensive and offer you more options to develop your ideas more freely. Unless you're just wanting to create concepts and ideas to pass onto someone else to digitise them and prepare them for print... in which case, good old pencil and paper! neesy111
I'm sure you could get some fans to work with you on designs @Heron who have the hardware and software and skills as long they got recognised and rewarded as well.
kingkerouac
I use a Wacom Intuos tablet - medium, and like another poster has said, using a vector graphic programme like Illustrator would be good. You can get the whole Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop (photo retouching and more), Indesign (page/layout design and more), Illustrator and many more apps for about £39 a month.
