It could easily be journalistic speculation about what they think those clubs 'ought' to do. If there's truth in this, the player would do well to remember what happened when PSG beat us to his signature. If Ekitike doesn’t sign (and he has done it before!) then the big news is the club are going to spend big on a striker this summer - great news. If Ekitike does sign happy days. Its Liverpool who have shanked things, had they been patient and Etikite had already signed it could have created a conundrum, but the club can’t sell the only striker on the books.
