The goal was a bit lucky, but apparently he played well. I turned the tv off after the goal so can't really say.

He’s obviously talented but he still looks very raw to me, a lot more ungainly than Isak when we bought him. Time will tell but I’m not convinced he’ll set the PL alight.

Our talent id is absurd. Don’t think I heard any club from abroad going for him years ago but us. 
 

perhaps the PSR limitations harm our ability to grow quickly or sign gems we want for x price - but let’s be clear again - Hugo needed the last season to develop into who he is today.

 

so maybe how we do things day to day is not what an experienced operator like ash or Mitch would like or maybe our on pitch near term goals under Eddie / the board don’t align either with expectations each season; I’m just really impressed with how we scout.

Hmmm, interesting first game in the Premier League. 

 

I can totally see why we fancied him after watching his early outings. His link up play is good and he seems to thrive on the counter attack (some nice flicks and tricks to go with his assist). At the same time, his goal was VERY fortunate and outside of that he didn't test the goalkeeper. I reckon he gets 12-15 in the league.
